New Construction in Rockbridge County including a new custom kitchen and master bath. Dark chestnut stained oak cabinets and Giallo Venziano granite provide warmth and beauty to this new kitchen. With little upper cabinetry, the owners utilized the pennisula for storage and seating for entertaining while the island is used for food prep and cleanup. The sidebar area provides more storage as well as another food prep area and bar for entertaining. In the master bathroom the end cabinet was modified by moving the hinges to the bottom and adding sliding hinges on the sides, an opening was cut in the bottom of the cabinet floor thus creating a chute that leads to the basement laundry area. The chute is directly above the laundry basket making laundry duty much easier.
